The Lewis Cass FFA chapter had its annual food drive scavenger hunt on November 13, 2013 following the monthly meeting. The teams were assigned and challenged to find donations of any nonperishable food items from family, friends, and neighbors. The food items were then donated to the Walton Christian Church food pantry. This year the FFA had an outstanding amount of 1,029 food items collected in just 50 minutes. The winning team consisted of Darrin Montgomery, Mikayla Tate, Jacob Seay and Mack Appleton. This is just one of the many ways the Lewis Cass FFA gives back to the local community.  The FFA would also like to thank anyone who donated to this great cause.
