She arises from her gentle bed

I watch her laugh, so soft and sorrow

Contented thoughts lay in her head

She frees herself from the days: today, tomorrow

She speaks of happiness, I think I know

The Happiness when Her’s shall stay,

Full of joy like a vivid rainbow

Gracious, Pleasing till the dusk of day

For tomorrow approaches and casts upon

Her soul, contending for night’s take,

Mind wandering till the time of dawn

Of distant sounds, I hear birds do awake.

Ready for the day to come ahead

She arises from her gentle bed
