Ridiculousness is a comedy show that first aired on August 29, 2011, with its host being Rob Dyrdek. The co-host of the show is Sterling “Steelo” Brim and Chanel West Coast. The comedy show shows short viral clips from the internet.

Although many people might send funny home experiences, the producers of MTV don’t accept any viewer submissions because of the harm that could be caused if others chose to try the stunts. Some of the first clips shown in the first episode were “redneck therapy,” “nutflix,” and “double whammies”. These clips started the show with a bang because it had a variety of different clips showing how everyone in the world can be stupid at times. In “redneck therapy,” a guy had a bow and arrow and lit the arrow on fire. Then he shot the arrow into a grass-line which caused the entire line to catch fire. The guy freaked out and had no clue what to do.

This show wouldn’t be the same without the host, Rob Dyrdek and co-hosts Sterling Brim and Chanel West Coast because of their jokes and comments throughout the clips. Dyrdek stands in front of the entire audience and commentates throughout each of the episodes while Steelo plays each of the clips and Chanel literally sits beside Steelo and the guest and laughs and tells side comments throughout the clips.

Many of the clips played throughout the show are absolutely stunning because of how harmful they can be. Although they can be harmful to the people performing the actions, they are absolutely hilarious. My all time favorite clip is called “Never Fun Losing.” The video had people that literally couldn’t stand to lose. A guy got ticked at his team for losing and literally ran into his television head first and destroyed it.

Since the show started, I’ve always watched it every time I can because it gives me a laugh. I also enjoy it because it has a variety of clips showing the stupidity of many people throughout the world. I encourage anyone who has free time to turn on the television to the MTV channel and watch the comedy.

I really enjoyed your article Dixon. Many people don’t really understand the show and just think it a show where they do dumb stuff. I enjoyed how you described many things about the show and how the conduct the picking of videos. I really enjoy the show too!

Dixon, you did a really good job at explaining the show and how the show is ran! I liked that you pulled out some of the first ever clips that started the show off as the legacy it is today!

I agree with this article and that people should be able to submit there own dumb and silly clips from home. You also did a great job on explaining your point and topic.
