A Last Thank You for my Supporters

A+Last+Thank+You+for+my+Supporters

As a Senior, I can say having people in your life that support you and care about you is essential. Going through high school isn’t easy… but with the right people school becomes an enjoyment. I was lucky enough to not just have my amazing family and friends to back me up but my amazing teachers. Senior year would have been a lot more stressful without my crazy, caring, and funny teachers. Therefore, I would like to take the time to simply thank them for not only being my teachers but my role models.

Mrs. Densborn, thank you for always joking with me. I loved that you would always eavesdrop into our tables conversation and never hesitate to join. Thanks for helping me decide whether I should wear my hair up or down for my dances haha! Thank you for dealing with my crazy energy of the morning because most people can’t handle morning people like me. But most importantly thank you for always caring about me and always being available to help me.

Mr. Engle, I feel as if we spent half our day at school together. I can’t thank you enough for all that you have done for me. Thank you for not only being one of my biggest mentors in life, but also being my friend. WIth you, I always felt no judgment. It didn’t matter what I needed help with, you always lended me a hand. I will always cherish the countless conversations we had together. Talking to you always helped me get through my long school days. Also what other teacher brings in a homemade pie and lets you eat some of it just because he had a few extra slices! Thank you for making high school a little less stressful and a lot more joyful.

Mrs. Swanson, thank you so much for your kind heart. I loved your compliments and always looked forward to them. You never hesitated to tell me my outfit looked good or my hair looked cute. I can’t thank you enough for that. Small things like that always made my day. I would also like to say thank you for always believing in me. Calculus isn’t an easy class, but you always reminded me all I needed was chocolate to get through it. This is why I would also like to say thank you for spoiling me with treats. You always knew how to fix a bad day. Thank you for always being that joy of sunshine that everyday needed.

Mr. Carlton, thank you for being my biggest supporter. Thank you for not letting me settle for good but pushing me to be great. Thank you for always letting me rant to you. I can’t even begin to describe how much time you had to spend dealing with my attitude or my bad side, and somehow you still survived. I am grateful that I had a teacher and coach that would always support my decisions and help guide me through some of my hardest decisions. Thank you for never hesitating to go the extra mile for me.

Mrs. Maloy and Mrs. Hileman, although you aren’t teachers, you sure did teach me a lot. You taught me to let loose and have fun. You both always knew how to get a smile out of me. I absolutely loved being an office aid this year. You both truly have the biggest hearts. Our daily conversations made me feel less stressed and made me comfortable.  Thank you Mrs. Maloy for all the snacks and desserts you provided. I always looked forward to those! Mrs. Hileman, thank you for always being silly and taking care of me as though I was your own child (especially when I got my tonsils out). Thank you both for always being open with us and taking care of our everyday needs.

Mr. Quick, I can’t even begin to thank you. I wonder how I made through my first three years of high school without having you to push me along. You spent countless hours training me to become a better athlete. You would get up early, you would stay after a long day of school and practice, or even use your prep period to make me a better athlete. I can’t tell you how much I appreciated that. You would always lowkey want to know about all the drama going on in the school and would somehow get it out of me. This I appreciated because it gave me someone to open up too. You also got roped into being pied in the face and chaperoning a dance because just like Carlton…you can’t say no to me haha. Thank you for always supporting me.

Overall, I don’t believe in not thanking the people who have shaped me into the person I am. Therefore, I just wanted to say thank you! I know teaching isn’t easy but for you each to carve out time on top of teaching to dedicate to me shows your passion. I couldn’t have asked for better supporters. Thank you!
