Coed Junior High Tennis Season
Tennis is fairly popular. The members of the JH coed tennis team were Katie Hurst, Avery Halterman, and Alisha Toops for the eighth graders. Liam Ellington, Tessa Scholer, and Raegan Mundy for the seventh grade. For the sixth grade there was only one player Abraham Baker. We interviewed Avery Halterman and she said “ The tennis season was a lot of fun!”
Most of the people that we have talked to said that tennis is sometimes hard at the beginning of playing, then it gets easier as you experience playing. We also interviewed another student that played tennis, Rylan Preston, and she said “ I liked the team!” The team played 8 different schools this season. The team would play doubles or singles depending on what was needed every match.
The Coeds Junior high tennis team’s number one and two players for singles were Katie Hurst and Liam Ellington. Coach Comonglio said “ I expect great days ahead for them in Lewis Cass tennis. I am very proud of the team this season, five of the players had never played competitively and they worked hard and improved immensely.”
The Coed Junior High tennis team started the first day of school and concluded September 18 of this school year, ending with a party to celebrate the season. We got some information from the coach that there are going to be open courts this summer, students can come and play for free and get help from other coaches. Coach Comonglio said “ Keep your eyes open for summer tennis camps!”

This was a good article and it kinda gave me an idea about how many matches you play and that tennis seems very fun!
