I am sure you have been asked what the best sport is. For me, the answer might surprise you, but I think it is football. You get to play on the nice fall nights. You also get to talk to your friends while playing football. Some people would rather spend their time playing video games, spending time with parents, or sleeping. What better way to stay fit than to practice and play football?

I get that some people can’t play football because of restrictions.  I think that most people take for granted the amount of sports available to us. I think that we should play all the sports possible and try new things. I think that people should be more active and enjoy life. I understand that some people don’t think they are good at sports, but how can they know if they don’t try? I play football because I enjoy it and think that it is the best sport.

The NFL is the most watched American sport. According to thesporting.blog “74.5% of Americans follow football.” People all over the world watch football. So, why not play it? Some people think that football is too dangerous to play. Others think the game is the best. According to NBC Sports, “ Rookies from the incoming 2022 NFL Draft class will make a minimum $705,000 this year.” Isn’t that crazy? Imagine playing your favorite sport and getting paid that much to play! People all over the world think that work is the most important thing, but why not enjoy your job and your life by playing football. Football is the best sport to play and watch. Even high school football has a lot of spectators and players. Just playing catch is better for you and makes you more active.

People should play and watch football, because it is the most popular sport in the U.S.A. Football is the best sport and the most entertaining. Football has many teams to cheer for. They also get paid lots.
