I am sure you have all heard of the star Kansas City Chiefs tight end, Travis Kelce, and the star music artist Taylor Swift. These two had been rumored to be dating over the summer. Many people did not believe this at first until they saw Taylor attend Travis’s first game of the season.
Speculations of the two first started after Travis attended one of Taylor’s concerts. Taylor then attended the Chiefs third game of the season where they played the Chicago Bears at home. Taylor was seen sitting next to Travis Kelce’s mom, Donna Kelce. Donna was asked about her son and Taylor in one of Travis’s podcasts and she said, “ It’s his relationship, and I am accepting of it as long as he’s happy”. This game was televised on live TV and Taylor was constantly the center of attention being shown and talked about all the time. In Travis’s podcast, when asked about if the NFL are overdoing the amount of times they talk about and show Taylor, he said, “ The NFL is overdoing it, and they are not there to be on TV every second .” It was believed Taylor was in there, so she would not get much attention while leaving. People were saying this was a fake relationship, and it was just for the media. After the game, there was a popcorn machine seen leaving the suite where Taylor was during the game.
The jersey sales of Travis Kelce then skyrocketed after they were said to be together. All of the Swift fans started buying jerseys and wearing them to her concerts. This also caused many Taylor Swift fans to start to attending some of the Chiefs games just so they would maybe have a chance of seeing Taylor there. Taylor then started to attend even more of Travis’s games and looked as if she was getting closer with his mother. Many photos started going viral of them leaving Arrowhead Stadium and also of them out for dinner in Kansas CIty. Travis is starting to get fed up with the amount of people trying to stalk him and his relationship. In an article by Ariana Brockington of The Today Show Travis was asked about his relationship, and he said, “ I feel on top of the world especially after winning the SuperBowl.”
The most recent news on the two was a video of Travis getting into the same car as Taylor. There are still many questions about this relationship many people want to know about. But, there have been rumors Taylor is going to try and perform at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City. Taylor and Travis are said to be one of the most unexpected relationships. They may last a long time or they may last just a couple months. In years or even months to come, we will see if it was really true love.
