TP (toilet paper) gangbangers on the loose! Recently, it seems the TP bandits have been claiming their victims in the rural towns of Walton and Galveston, Indiana. These anonymous criminals have been on a TP-ing spree claiming some houses in the local area and students from Lewis Cass. These acts have been taking place in the last three weeks. If you are wondering, is toilet papering a person’s house illegal? There are no certain laws against toilet papering, but If you are to get caught while in the act of TP-ing a person’s house, you could be charged with various crimes such as criminal mischief, littering, and disturbing the peace. None of these charges can get you serious jail time, but at the same time, it is not recommended to toilet paper a fellow classmate’s house.
One fellow classmate here at Lewis Cass that has been attacked by these bandits was Michael Meyers. When asked for Myers to give an account of his experience of this tragedy he said, “Over the last three weeks, I have been attacked multiple times by many different suspects. Each of the three attacks has had its own spin on TP-ing.” When asked about the TP-ing destruction, Myers said, “The first time involved the first two trees in my drive and my mailbox being bent by the criminal in question.” Myers was asked if he had any suspects in mind for the attacks. He responded, “I identified the first attacker’s escape vehicle as a Grey Chevy Silverado. This crash was only the start, however. The next weekend, when I was out of town in Michigan, I was attacked a second time. This attack’s main suspect is my ex-girlfriend. After a shaky ending, she decided to take it out on my property and vandalize my beautiful landscape/scenery. This attack was personal, as they got every tree in my driveway and my mulberry tree by my house. At this point, I thought the madness was over. However, the next week I was hit again, and this was the worst of them all. Knowing what they were doing, the criminals hung the toilet paper to let it flow like a flag across my drive. After all of this, I have given up on trying to clean it up as I expect more and more attacks. I hope my role as a victim will help others avoid this disgusting act.”
We reached out to another fellow classmate, Nolan Hahn, who had a similar experience to Myers. Nolan was TP-ed two times on back-to-back days this weekend and the culprit is still out on the loose. Although there are suspects, there is no definitive evidence yet. Possible suspects include Temp_Ryan, ClarkBar3000, and ToccoWade2k. Although these bandits might never be caught, Nolan Hahn is doing his best to find these gang members. Nolan Hahn has done his fair share of TP-ing himself, but now he is furious with whoever has “vandalized his house”.
After all of these accusations and criminal activities we might never catch the TP Bandits, and for all we know they might strike again, so folks stay safe and stay alert you never know who or when you’ll be hit.
