Fall is just around the corner, and what do so many people look forward to? I believe, as do many others, look forward to the fall menus at our local coffee shops. So, why not go and try the new Dunkin’ fall menu? The Dunkin’ fall menu came out on August 20, 2025, and had three main drinks to choose from and a couple of food items. So, my friends and I decided to rate the Dunkin’ fall menu items and give our honest opinions on them.
There were different opinions on what their favorite drink was. Senior Katie Hurst said the drink she was most excited to try was the Cereal ‘N Milk. Senior, Hailee Roeske, stated she was most excited to try the Mixed Berry Daydream Refresher. So, the three drinks we tried were the new Sabrina Carpenter Mixed Berry Daydream Refresher, Cereal ‘N Milk Latte, and the Iced Pumpkin Spiced Latte. The first drink we all tried and rated was the Iced Pumpkin Spiced Latte. According to Katie Hurst, the Iced Pumpkin Spiced Latte was nothing special and just tasted like syrupy pumpkin spice. Hurst said, “It wasn’t a bad drink, but there are definitely better pumpkin-spiced drinks at other coffee shops.” Hailee Roeske said, “I personally didn’t mind the Pumpkin Spiced Latte; however, it was kind of basic.” Katie rated the Pumpkin Spiced Latte a 5.7/10. Hailee Roeske rated the drink a 5.2/10. I gave this drink a 5/10. Overall, this drink was very mild, and I did not love it.
The next drink sampled was the Cereal ‘N Milk Latte. This drink was my favorite of the whole review because it tasted like a normal caramel iced coffee. I rated this drink a 7/10, and I would have given it a higher rating if it tasted more like cereal. Also, I did not think this should be considered a fall drink. Katie Hurst rated this drink a 4.7/10 and said, “I don’t really love the taste of Dunkin’s coffee.” Hailee Roeske understood and mentioned she does not love Dunkin’s coffee either. According to Hailee, this drink was not her favorite and was very plain, so she rated it a 4.3/10. The last drink we reviewed was the Mixed Berry Daydream Refresher. Roeske stated, “ I think this drink tasted like fruit snacks and was very artificial.” Katie said, “I think this drink is very sweet and not that refreshing.” Hailee rated this drink a 7/10, Katie rated it a 6/10, and I agreed and gave it a 6/10.
The food items we attempted were the Pumpkin Munchkins, the Kreme Delight Donut, and the Iced Pumpkin Loaf. The first item reviewed was the Iced Pumpkin Loaf. Before trying this item, Hailee stated she did not like how it came in a bag, and it reminded her of school lunch bakeries. Roeske replied that she thought the icing on the loaf tasted gummy. We all rated this item a 7/10. The next food item on the list to try was the pumpkin munchkins. We all agreed that this item did not really have much pumpkin flavor. However, I do not really love a strong pumpkin taste, so I enjoyed this treat. Katie and Hailee both gave the pumpkin munchkins an 8/10. Roeske said, “I would have rated this item higher if it had more pumpkin flavor.” Katie agreed on this statement. I rated the pumpkin munchkins a 7/10 because they tasted similar to the pumpkin loaf. The last food menu item we sampled was the Kreme Delight Donut. I did not like this item because I am not a huge fan of donuts. I also do not enjoy donuts and do not enjoy filling. Katie and Hailee stated this donut was pretty good, but tasted more like a plain chocolate donut. Both Hurst and Roeske definitely enjoy donuts more than I do because they rated them an 8.5/10. I rated this item pretty low in comparison to other items we tried.
Overall, I enjoyed the day spent with my friends rating the new Dunkin’ fall menu. Although we all sampled similar items, we had differing results. During this taste test, we learned Dunkin’ is not the best option when wanting to try fall menu items. Dunkin’s items were not bad, but they did not have a variety of options like other coffee shops. Lastly, trying fall menu items with your best friends is an unforgettable experience.
