Turkey Run
Turkey Run is a fun activity you can do with your family. You can go on fun trails and canoe. You can walk through ravines, that take you to another time. There are also bridle trails, historical sites, and the nature center. You can see gorgeous sandstones which represent 300 to 600 million years of nature’s hard work. There are deep canyons nestled in the shadows of sandstone cliffs. Turkey Run has so many pretty views that you can see. You can also camp at Turkey Run State Park. You don’t always have to swim in the lake water, there is also an olympic size swimming pool. People think Turkey Run State Park most likely obtained its name because of the wild turkey running around and people catching them.
Nia Maroney- I go to Turkey Run almost every year. We go canoeing and hiking. We canoe all day and then walk the trails after. Trail three is my favorite because all of the big stairs and handmade walkways you can go on.
Allayna Wilson- When I went to Turkey Run, it was too hot to do anything. We tried to hike one day and had to bring water bottles. There was a huge bridge that I didn’t want to cross because I thought it was going to break from all of the people on it. The trails are huge at Turkey Run, I think they are the main points of the park because they cover almost half of the park.
Mirikle Prince- When I went to Turkey Run I was with my dad. It was really hot outside, but It’s so pretty there and I loved it.

This was a great article because it reminded me of when my family went on hiking trips and cave exploring. Plus from the picture it seems like a pretty place, and a very fun area to be with all of the things you can do.
