Spider-Man: No Way Home Excitement Keeps Getting Bigger and Bigger

The hype levels for the next Spider-Man movie has been very intriguing to see.  So many fans and myself are super stoked to see this finale to the Tom Holland Spider-Man trilogy.  The first two movies were great and some of the best movies to come out of the franchise.  Hopefully the third installment can be a success as well.  The thing that is keeping the hype for the movie big right now is that the trailer hasn’t been released to fans worldwide and the movie is supposed to be in theaters on December 17, 2021.  I have no clue why there hasn’t been a trailer released yet, especially since we are about four months away from the release date.

First, everyone is ready to see what is gonna happen next after the controversial ending to Spider-Man: Far From Home.  The ending to the last movie had where J. Jonah Jameson revealed to the whole world who Spider-Man was.  He played a video of the villain from that movie (Mysterio) saying that Peter Parker was Spider-Man.  This resulted in a lot of fans, including myself, upset and confused as to why they would do this.  Spider-Man’s big thing about the character is keeping his identity a secret from the whole world.  Now everyone knows who Spider-Man is because of this scene.  Everyone is anxious to see how they are going to continue on in the next movie with his identity being revealed to the world.

Next, the trailer for this movie has not been released yet.  Usually for big movies like this, they would have posted the trailer at the end of the previous year or at least way earlier in the year than now.  There are some rumors that the reason that they haven’t posted the trailer yet is because they want to have the audience wait and see the movie when it comes out to get their first look at it.  This sorta seems like a good idea because it does make it more watchable to some extent, but I would rather them post a trailer.  I think that a lot of people would agree with me on that.  I like to know or have an idea of what the plot is about and who the characters are ahead of when the movie comes out.  Another rumor about the trailer not dropping yet is because there are some characters that are supposed to appear in the movie.  There have been talks of old characters from old Spider-Man movies set to make an appearance.

Furthermore, the villains of Doc Ock and Electro have already been confirmed to be characters in Spider-Man: No Way Home.  Doc Ock was the villain in Spider-Man 2 (2004) and Electro was the villain in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014).  Along with these guys being put into the movie, there are other huge characters who have been rumored to make some appearances.  Now, there have been three different actors to play the masked vigilante over the years.  Tobey Maguire played the webslinger in Spider-Man (2002), Spider-Man 2 (2004), and Spider-Man 3 (2007).  Andrew Garfield played Spidey in The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014).  The current Spider-Man is Tom Holland and his movies are Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019), and Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021).  Apparently, Maquire and Garfield’s heroes are supposed to be in this year’s movie alongside Holland.  That would be awesome if they were all in the same movie because they are all fantastic actors that have played the Web Head.

In conclusion, there is a lot of hype going into this movie in the winter of 2021.  I think it might be the best movie of the year because usually the Spider-Man movies are classic movies to watch.  In my opinion, he is the best superhero that there is.  He is very relatable to teenagers like me because Peter Parker is around my age and I love that the character has to be worried about what is going on in his personal life and superhero life at the same time.  I hope that the trailer drops soon because I would really like to see what the “No Way Home” title to the movie is all about.  I assume it will be something about Spider-Man trying to make his way back home to New York City.  Whatever the case may be, the movie should definitely live up to the expectations and deliver big.
