Okay so to start out, let me explain what is wrong right now. We are DESTROYING the Earth. As we speak trillions of plastic products are being made, sold, and used. We are no joke in the beginning of a Mass extinction and all of the people that can help are doing nothing but looking for more ways to get money.  Let me explain what we are doing to our waterways, then our animals, and then over all our planet. 

Right now we are polluting almost every waterway on this Earth. Oceans, Lakes, Rivers, and Sea’s. We are destroying the water we need to drink, grow crops, and keep everything alive. Since we are polluting our Oceans, we are destroying the wildlife inside of the Ocean’s. If we pollute the Lakes and Rivers we will have no water to drink, or to give to our animals, or to water our crops. If we have no water to drink or to water our crops or to give to our animals everyone and everything will die! 

What about our animals. One we need them to help our ecosystems, we need them to help people, (service animals) we also need them to keep animal populations under control, and also to help feed people. The topic of how they torture and abuse animals to feed people is a whole other topic that we aren’t on right now, but animals are very important in our ecosystems and we are not only destroying our home, but theirs also. We need to start protecting them and their ecosystems. 

Our planet is being destroyed by the creatures that think that they are helping by making advancements in technology, and making life easier for people, when really they are going to wipe us out faster. They are trying to make life easier for their workers by having them dump their trash INTO the literal OCEAN! Where wildlife roams free they are dumping trash to make their life easier. While this is happening and people know that it is happening they stand by and do nothing! This is destroying our planet, which is our only one…there isn’t a planet B, no one does anything. 

Pollution is yet another topic that we could write multiple essays about but this essay is hopefully giving you an insight to what is really happening in the world. Long-term exposure to air pollution, can lead to disease, lung cancer and other horrible illnesses. We are digging our own graves and all people are thinking about is how to make more money. 

We need to get engineers that will create machines that will help with Earth pollution. That will make machines that will help remove trash from oceans and that won’t harm the wildlife either. It may sound hard, but people are already doing it. They are making a difference and need to be recognized. We need to use STEM to find ways to get rid of plastic all together, to plant more trees faster, to protect ecosystems, to help preserve wildlife, and to end this chaos.
