Today we will be talking about all of middle school activities and what is going on in our school. Some activities coming up include a field trip for the 7th graders, homecoming, and the homecoming dance coming up next Friday with the homecoming dance there is also a football game and dress up days. The week of the dress up days are the 16-20th, the dress up days are, Monday Pajama day, Tuesday is Students dress like a teacher and Teachers dress as a student, Wednesday Is anything but a water bottle day (make sure whatever you bring in make sure it has a lid) Thursday is wear your colors the colors for the grades are: Seniors- navy  Juniors- pink Sophomores- white Freshmen- Red 8th grade- Orange 7th grade-Green 6th grade- Yellow and Staff is – Black. Friday is SPIRIT WEAR wear your Lewis Cass gear to win against the stripes. The dates of all the activities above are the field trip for 7th graders is 9/19/24 the 7th graders are  taking the trip to IUK. Next, the homecoming dance is right before the game for junior high school.  Homecoming is 9/20/24(we are going against the zebras) don’t forget to wear your Lewis Cass gear for homecoming.  We interviewed a couple girls in junior high on what their favorite part of being a Lewis Cass King was. Lily Heintz responded with “ All the people and environment and school spirit.” Another 8th grader Lynnsey Ramer said “ Da food and everyone can participate and is included in everything.” Hayden Tocco said her favorite part was  “The school spirit and all of the wonderful people in the school”. Maci Moss says hers is “All of the friends she makes here.” Briza Manzano said “ She loves her friends, the great support of all of her teachers and she likes fun Friday where she gets to play with all her friends and have fun. “  As you can see, Lewis Cass middle schoolers are very interesting and love their school. Lewis Cass is a great school where you can make lots of fun memories and make new friends and lots of good memories with them!!
