Barge

My transportation is a barge. A barge is a flat-bottomed boat for carrying freight, typically on canals and rivers, either under its own power or towed by another. It was created in 2500 B.C. This mode of transportation was created to carry freight through shallow inland, or coastal waterways. It also used to transport bulk goods. It was invented for use in the afterlife by King Khufu. I couldn’t find who (the person) that makes the barge, but I did find what corporation. The Inland Waterways Corporation. The barge has improved by the material it was first made of. Materials like wood. Now the barge is made up of metals, steel, and a lot of different materials. If I could improve it, I would improve the barge by putting walls on the flat part or the main part of the boat. Not too high because you still wanted to be able to put the good on it or in it. I would put walls so if the waves were really high or if it was winding. I would not make the boat attach to it. Barges are used in small inland areas. Like lakes, rivers, canals It has been used in the Chicago River.
