This type of transportation is a golf cart. The golf cart was invented for handicap people to get around. The golf cart was also used in WWII to haul around dead and wounded soldiers. Merle Williams of Long Beach, California was an early innovator of the electric golf cart. He started with knowledge gained from production of electric cars due to World War II gasoline rationing. In 1951 his Marketeer Company began production of an electric golf cart in Redlands, California. The golf cart has changed a lot over the years. The golf cart body and engine has changed. The body has changed in style and the engine has more horsepower. One of my improvements I would make would be a lift kit in the front so it will be tooted. I would also put big rims and tires and a whip antenna for a cb radio.
