8th Grade Volleyball

With the volleyball season coming to an end, we would like to look back and revisit the year. This year the 8th grade volleyball team had a winning record of 11-4. Their achievements for this year were placing 3rd in the Cass County tournament and placing 3rd in the MIC. We asked three players about their experience with their last volleyball season in junior high.

Anna Hedrick’s view of the season was “I think this season I learned a lot, and I wish I could go back and practice more on rotations on the court. I did like the overall outcome of the season. I think the season went really well but it still could’ve had improvements too. I think this season was a learning experience for me. Since it is my first year I have learned a lot of new things and I am excited to keep learning. I feel like as a team we all worked together great, and for the most part got along. I can not wait to keep growing with everyone on the team individually and as a team.” Anna- Hedrick

So in conclusion the girls volleyball team had a heck of a year. All of the games were entertaining to watch, mainly talking about the student section.

The year had its ups and downs, but in the end, the 8th grade volleyball team pulled out a good season.

The volleyball season overall was a good one. Now we couldn’t just acknowledge the team, we also had to acknowledge the roaring student section full of loud cheering students.
