The Junior high tennis team has 15 players and two coaches. The coaches are coach Rankert and coach Goltz. I asked coach Rankert what her thoughts were on our first game that we had and she said, “We did good, but we still have a lot to improve on”. There are five people who play singles. There are 8 people who are double players. Our singles players are Samuel Hull, Luke Salyers, Myles Johnson, Oakland Preston, and Sawyer Eshelmen. Our doubles players are Greyson Fisher, Annika Townsend, Carson Reed, Aaryanna Coffman, Aleczander Ousley, Bradley Martin, Cooper Collins, and Katherine Hull. The Jr. high tennis have two people who can play either doubles or singles depending on what the other team has. They are Tucker Smith and Aidan Wallace.
On Tuesday, August 22nd the Jr. high tennis had their first match against Northwestern. The game was an away game. The people who played in the match were Sam hull, Luke Salyers, Myles Johnson, Oakland Preston, Sawyer Eshelman, Greyson Fisher, Anica Townsend, Aaryanna Coffman, Cooper Collins, Aidan Wallace, and Kate Hull. The singles players were Sam Hull, Luke Salyers, Myles Johnson, Oakland Preston, Tucker Smith, and Sawyer Eshelmen. The doubles players were Aiden Wallace, Greyson Fisher, Annika Townsend, Aaryanna Coffman, Cooper Collins, and Kate Hull.
The one singles was Sam Hull. The two singles was Luke Salyers. The three singles was Oakland Preston. The four singles was Myles Johnson. The five singles was Tucker Smith. The one double were Aiden Wallace and Anica Townsend. The two doubles were Cooper Collins and Kate Hull. The three singles were Greyson Fisher and Aryanna Coffman. Jr. high tennis also had four doubles because the other team had more players than us so Jr. high tennis had two more people play again. Those two people were Sam Hull and Oakland Preston. Out of the nine tennis matches, JH high tennis only one two matches. The two matches that Jr. high tennis won were four singles and four doubles. The people that won are Myles Johnson, Oakland Preston, and Sam Hull.

I really like this article because of how you formated it. I like how you stated everyone on the team and who played what. I also liked that you stated what the coach had said about your game. I think that after reading this article, some people might start looking in to playing tennis. Great Job!

I liked this article because it taught me the different type of tennis matches like there are singles and doubles and that sometimes the single players can play double. Overall I really liked this article because of what it taught me about tennis.
