In today’s generation, consumers are constantly on the go, which causes them to eat out with family and friends. Eating out often involves going to fast-food restaurants. Since so many people eat at fast-food restaurants, The Kings’ Courier wondered which fast-food restaurant is the fan favorite. Along with the favorite fast food places, we also wondered what the most popular menu items were.
According to Deborah Cicurel of Lovefood.com, the fast food fan favorites include Arby’s classic roast beef sandwich, Burger King Whopper, Chick-fil-A waffle fries, Dairy Queen Blizzard, McDonald’s French Fries, Popeyes classic chicken sandwich, and the Taco Bell Crunchwrap Supreme. While these are the fan favorites according to Cicurel, The Courier asked high school students here at Lewis Cass about some of their favorites.
After surveying students here at Lewis Cass about their favorite fast food restaurants and menu items, the most popular fast food restaurant was Chick-fil-A. The number one item people order from Chick-fil-A is their chicken sandwich. I personally agree with this result because it is fast, efficient, and tastes fresh. Along with Chick-fil-A, the other chicken competitor, Raising Cane’s, had the most popular menu item, which was the toast. The next-ranked fast food restaurant among students at Cass High School was Taco Bell. According to the survey, the most popular item at Taco Bell was the Crunchwrap Supreme. The third-place restaurant was McDonald’s, which is most well known for its fries. Finally, on the survey was the Dairy Queen Blizzard. The students here at Cass stated their favorite Dairy Queen Blizzard was the Oreo flavored. The least favorite items include the Burger King Whopper and the Arby’s classic roast beef sandwich.
According to Lewis Cass sophomore Presley Johnson, her favorite fast food restaurant is Raising Cane’s or Chick-fil-A. She rated the Raising Cane’s toast a 10/10. Presley and I also tried the Popeyes chicken sandwich, which was another fan favorite for the students at Lewis Cass. Presley stated, “The chicken sandwich was not good, and I do not recommend it. I would give it a 5/10, and I prefer the Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich.” We also rated McDonald’s classic French Fries, and Presley gave them a 9/10. She also mentioned she enjoys the Dairy Queen Blizzard. Her favorite is Reese’s flavored. Presley agreed that the Arby’s classic roast beef sandwich is her least favorite fast food item.
In conclusion, there are a variety of fast food restaurants to choose from when deciding where to eat out at a fast food chain. According to the students here at Lewis Cass, the most popular food places include Chick-fil-A, Raising Cane’s, and Taco Bell. Popular items Kings ordered included chicken sandwiches, waffle fries, toast, and Crunchwrap Supremes. The Kings’Courier also learned that many of the students here at Cass have similar opinions when it comes to fast food places to choose from. Overall, the majority of these students like something fast, efficient, and fresh. The next time someone is unsure where to eat out, I recommend trying Chick-fil-A, Raising Cane’s, or Taco Bell!
